Our hearts are devastated by the loss of so many lives, homes and businesses in our community due to Hurricane Ian. Sadly, our beloved Matanzas Inn received extensive damage during the storm.

We are grateful for the outpouring of support, and we remain focused on helping our employees, neighbors and community as we get through this difficult time. We are assessing next steps for rebuilding the inn, which will likely be done in phases as soon as we are able.

Our inn is uninhabitable for the time being, and we are not able to fulfill any reservations for the foreseeable future. If you have made a reservation, please be patient with us as we work to refund your deposit. We will contact you and at that point, you can let us know if you’d like to use your deposit for a future stay once we reopen. Unfortunately, our computer system was lost in the storm, so we are unable to provide refunds until a new system is in place. It may take us some time, but please know we are working to have this up and running as soon as possible.
